One of our specialist areas is HR and recruitment. We work with many leading companies in this space from HR technology providers to those offering health and wellbeing solutions.
During the pandemic commentary from our clients was in huge demand as publications were writing about how employers managed and made sense of the changes in the workplace brought about by the lockdowns and restrictions. Our journalist contacts regularly ask us for comments from clients because they know we are quick at turning these around, which is essential if they are on a tight deadline. Subsequently, we’ve supplied comments on a whole range of complex issues over the past 18 months, from furlough and remote / hybrid working, to mental health and virtual recruitment. We’ve also responded to what’s being talked about in the press with regular news releases and thought leadership articles from clients on a whole range of issues. Providing this expert insight on a regular basis ensures our clients are always top of mind when journalists are looking for a quick quote on a subject. Below are some examples of the issues talked about for clients and some resulting press coverage. Activ Absence is a leading cloud-based software solution for absence management, sickness administration and staff holiday planning. We’ve provided comments from them on the challenges for HR in managing absence remotely, looking after employee’s mental health and wellbeing, including managing long Covid and dealing with absences around holidays, self-isolation and being ‘pinged’. Resulting coverage includes: • Businesses should prepare for a surge in holiday bookings • Long Covid could lead to a costly rise in absenteeism for the unprepared XpertHR is an online source of legal compliance, good practice and benchmarking information made available to HR professionals as a single subscription service. We helped them promote their series of Coronavirus surveys throughout 2020. There was huge interest in their insights from these surveys which resulted in almost 60 pieces of coverage a month for them in top HR and national titles. Howden Employee Benefits and Wellbeing provides strategic advice to consumers, SMEs and corporate clients on healthcare, protection, wellbeing, and pension benefits, both in the UK and internationally. We supplied insights from Howden on a broad range of issues on health and wellbeing and how employee benefits are impacted. This included publicising the results from several surveys done with businesses on how the pandemic was impacting them. We also promoted Howden’s new SME Hub which is a free, dedicated HR resource to help time poor SMEs, look after the health and wellbeing of their employees. Coverage includes: • Howden launches a free SME hub to support businesses in creating happy and healthy workforces • Trend to home-working creating ‘significant pressures’ for HR teams If you are looking to connect with CEOs, business leaders and HR directors and let them know about your services or products, then talk to us.
